I've been able to verify that Chromium does not use RENDER acceleration
for antialiased fonts for web content; I asked one of the developers.
That would seem to explain why it doesn't show up for Chromium web
content (as stated in my previous comment).

The reason a folder is being copied is because the DND action is set to
copy. Normal launchers work find because the .desktop file is copied.
However the Places menu items don't work as they are not .desktop files.
Therefore a string containing the folder path is sent, and nautilus
therefore copies

I found an other solution for the problem, that allows to change
automatically the sound output: after "options snd-hda-intel
model=lenovo" I tried "options snd-hda-intel model=asus-v1s" and now, if
I insert the jack when Ubuntu is charged, all works fine. I hope that is

I believe that the problem is at network manager and/or modem manager
because when running (nm+mm or nm stopped mm running), after ejecting
the initially created CD-ROM (sr0) some seconds later (when it re-
appears) the system partially freezes:
new terminal window opens but you cannot type anyth
This bug still affects Ubuntu as of August 23, 2009. I no longer have
the desktop PC with the card reader, but I still have the phone. I think
the two bugs are unrelated.

First we need to build libwnck and install libwnck

# apt-get build-dep libwnck
# apt-get source libwnck

# cp /path/to/10_wnck_scroll_enabled.patch debian/patches/

oliwek, I forgot to say that if you do sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-
get upgrade your special package will be removed and the ubuntu package
will be installed instead - could be good to know if things don't work
out as they should :)
