(spreadsheet) files as well.

It turns out that if I use the kernel from the PPA which has KMS enabled
by default, my system boots fine with KMS. If I use the default kernel
which has KMS disabled by default, and change the boot manager
accordingly, it won't work and I get the messages above.

On my multi boot system, the grub2 menu have been created by Karmic.

running rtl 8187b, when i connect in ubuntu 9.04, surfing net, doing
basic things, everything runs ok, than i reboot into vista, my card is

Could you get the current karmic source package and make it so that the
diff to your new package is minimal?
It doesn't make much sense for us to have changelog entries of source
package that never made it into Ubuntu itself.

I have installed Karmic Alpha 3 in a VirtualBox VM and Ekiga 3.2.5 works
fine.
Is there any way that we can get Ekiga 3.2.5 into the repositories for
Jaunty? I really would like to have this working now on Jaunty 9.04,
rather than having to wait for Karmic to arrive.

Yes, sound just did not work. After restart everything is fine "back in
normal" = unable to hear flash videos + totem videos etc..

Just noticed something:
On my laptop, I have two user accounts, a personal one and a work one.
The personal one was created before I switched from QWERTY to Dvorak, and has
this problem.
The work one was created after switching from QWERTY to Dvorak, and it is fine.

I don't see evidence of a computer-janitor crash. Keivan, please send a
stack trace if you can reproduce. The is supposed to handle this case
already, and display an error message rather than just crash.
Also, why is there an _installation_ trace if it is a computer-janitor
crash? I don't see why
