In current karmic I'm getting these warnings pop up every minute or so,
for a few read-only NFS filesystems. As Steve said, it is useless to
provide warnings for filesystems to which the user cannot write (nor

Am seeing this too, using Totem Movie Player on a Lenovo T61 ThinkPad
with Nvidia proprietary drivers.
This can be fixed by moving the "Hue" slider, as indicated above.

May I ask why there is no progress of this bug? As far as I can see
there is a patch available for two years now ... I really need this
feature to connect to my university network!

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper
cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is
quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of
this project.

I have the same problem. Since I've updated to Firefox 3.5 the Ctrl + F
shortcut doesn't work at all. I have to click to "Edit -> Find"
otherwise there's no chance to find something on a webpage

David: that is not current policy. When Jaunty was released, it shipped
Amarok 2.0.2, which unfortunately is already very old. To include a
newer version, Amarok 2.1 should have been released before the feature
freeze for Jaunty. As this was not the case, it goes to the backports.
