remote directory with sshfs, I get the error fuse: device not found, try
'modprobe fuse' first. Since fuse is now part of the kernel, it cannot be

I can confirm the same issue of Obed Arbel, when I close the lid i get
the freezes, I don't get the freeze by doing hard work on the laptop or
using compiz, I am using the lastest intel driver available. I will try
to ssh to the machine next time to get some information.

file" gives the selected file format and printing to a CUPS queue sends
PDF. The output fioles are also small and do not have text converted to
bitmaps. All is perfect now.

Getting 1.8.X into the official repositories is going to be a challenge.
It is maintained by Debian so Ubuntu won't introduce an Ubuntu specific

Neither of those fixes work (although the LD_PRELOAD works with HornetsEye,
another computer vision framework).
I can't compile the SVN version of OpenCV due to an error in the SWIG bindings.
Does anyone have a patch/fix/workaround at all?

I confirm that, after explicitly uninstalling 2.6.27-14, the
SUSPEND_MODULES solution worked with -11. Xubuntu 8.10 32-bit with all
other updates; 500MHz/192Mb.

I have the same issue with my MSI Wind Touch AE1900... The touch screen
does not work either... Here is some additional informations...

Hello, I'm using Jaunty x64 server edition and trying to setup
something that is exactly as this original bug describes. ivman is set
in its config file to run as user ivman and as group cdrom. The user
ivman is a member of groups private, cdrom, plugdev, and ivman. The

Okay, but your mockups are bad (I hope you do not take any offense, because its

screenshot 1 - you use emblems. emblems should be attached to files/folders,
not used as folders.

Will you also accept a patch to attach the "distributor-logo" (ubuntu icon) to

Firefox memory usage increases to point of no response

I'm seeing Firefox occupying increasing memory every time I go to a new
site, as if it was caching it in RAM, but not freeing it when I leave
and close the window. This is new behavior, -maybe- only after
upgrading to 9.04, or latest Firefox upgrade. It'll go to the point of
filling my 4 GB RAM,
