In Jaunty gdm just exits and says something like "System is restarting" or
similar. I guess in hardy and intrepid it is exiting also, but not displaying
any message.
I'm perfectly cool with this behaviour (that gdm just exits and displays some
message unless you set CustomCommandNoRestartN=True)

you're on the gdm screen and change into a tty (Ctrl+Alt+F1 for example) and
rund the sanity check there.

preview doesn't work there either. Also, it's ages old and about a
different version of the Mozilla rendering stack. Nowadays, Mozilla uses

I have now checked out the problem with one other Windows 2000 machine,
and one XP machine. A problem appears in showing slide shows with both
OOo 3.0.1 and 3.1 on Windows. In OOo 3.1 on XP, the slide transition
Box Out uses the preceding slide to produce Box Out, and then when it is
done shifts

The package basically didn't change since hardy. Package description
says "Upstream development has moved to the newer library telepathy-glib
- new projects should use that instead.", and that it is the "old glib
version". What's the status of fully migrating empathy to telepathy-
glib?
