I have this same problem but compiz is disabled (System -> Preferences
-> Appearance -> Visual Effects = None). I have two monitors (laptop
screen and external monitor) with gnome panels at the top and bottom of
each. These panels display above MythTV no matter which screen I select

I have a Gateway T-1615 with a SD/MMC reader(not 5 in 1) which worked

Well my Dell Mini 10 wouldn't boot at a coffee shop and I couldn't
figure out what was going on. This is my first shot at Ubuntu (been a
Gentoo user for years) and I got all the errors I'm reading about in
this bug when booting on battery. I used JFS (I like JFS) and it does
need to have fsck run.

I installed Tracker a few days ago, then yesterday the Save As dialog of
several Gnome applications started to get slow, waiting several seconds
I have just solved this problem (at least in my computer, other users
may try this out).
It seems it was a problem with Tracker. I just killed the tracker-
indexer and trackerd processes and the file chooser dialog was working
as fast as usual again. I ended up uninstalling Tracker. This solution

I just finished testing the kernel
linux-image-2.6.28-13-generic_2.6.28-13.44~lp345627~crimsun1_i386.deb
Unfortunately, it does not appear to help. Anytime Skype accesses the
audio, the CPU remains at 100%.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Many Firefox issues a caused by
conflicting third party addons. Could you please try with a new profile? You
don't have to delete your old profile to test.

Thanks for your report. I'd say this is not a bug, but a feature. The
clickable area is the icon itself and the textarea - a bigger area is
confusing, especially if the icons are next to each other: where does
one end and the other start?

For some reason the hard wired buttons for the IBM T42 stopped working
when I reinstalled Jaunty. So found a solution that called for
installing "tpb" which stands for thinkpad buttons, After which I tried
running hibernate for some strange reason. After that I got the same
errors I usually do.

Upstream template from Stable branch (kde 4.2.2) : 2703 strings,
translation complete
Launchpad translations : kmail template has 2702 strings, it seems to be
identical to upstream (minus one string ?)
