I managed to reproduce this problem by turning on the following setting
under Compiz, using `ccsm`:
ccsm > Enhanced Zoom Desktop > Mouse Behavior > Hide Original Mouse

Turning this switch off did not fix the problem, even after restarting
the browser. Earlier, system had been running Intr

Hello again, I want to notice how I managed to solve this problem.
The solution wasn't obvious as you may see below.
I have rebooted in Windows. Touchpad still didn't work & there was no any
response for Fn key pressing.
But suddenly I missed the touchpad on/off key and pressed sleep or hibernate
This can be fixed by not using a hardmount in /etc/fstab. If you add the
"soft" option to your mount parameters, the filesystem remains active. I
think this is expected behavior for NFS (hard is default due to possible
instability issues with soft mounting).

I've tested more the problem. The project was climateprediction.net
When using with worldcommunitygrid.org freezed my computer (after 60 hours
