I have KDE 4 configured so that GTK apps use the same style and font as
KDE apps. For the most part, when not running and app as root, this
works fine. For instance gnome-terminal blends in very well. However

I'm having a similar issue when trying to burn either a CD or a DVD ISO.
Brasero apparently starts ok, but when finishing the burn process, it displays

This is broken even worse in XFCE.
GNOME Keyring is obviously being started via GDM in --login mode, but
then the --start part is not being done by default due to
/etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-daemon.desktop having OnlyShowIn=GNOME.
After I remove that line, I can see it's printing
GNOME_K
I tried running the dbus-monitor script, and lshal, under kernel
2.6.30-rc6 too.. Same result, ie. identical to Jeremy's post above.
I did this while on battery power, as I think someone else mentioned
maybe that would make a difference.. but it didn't.

I can confirm this bug. I have two Asus Eee PCs right beside each other
on the same network. One is a 1000 model with RaLink RT2860 wireless and
it works perfectly. Strong signal, connects dependably and quickly. But

Huh. It's now 2009, and I have Jaunty, and... I'm not able to lock/pin a
file that I don't want updated, as I applied a patch to it. I'm new to
this, so HOW do I do it from the command line?

Success. Theory proven. Did not need the reboot after activating the
driver. Worked like a charm. If you have a notebook with Broadcom
wireless card BCM4318, this appears to be the easiest solution by far.

Unfortunantly bindings are not integrated well into the build system of
the project. So it might take a while to get those in.

Hi,
I installed Ubuntu 9.04, and using the System>Hardware drivers link,
installed the latest Nvidia driver (version 180).
I'm using Gnome, and most of the display is fine, except for some KDE-
based applications. In these applications, sometimes menus that have a
roll-over
"Hello mrwizer, it seems that you're using wodim, could you please try
to burn with growisofs (remove wodim) and test again? that could be the
cause of the problem, thanks!."
I am getting this error also - how do I do the above?
I confirmed that there are no MD5 entries in Gconf-Editor > Apps >
