The problem is related to the script /lib/udev/ltspfs_entry that doesn't
use the right XAUTHORITY and DISPLAY variables. If those variables are
set appropriately, ltspfsmounter behaves correctly.
There is a small patch to show where the problem is, and few issues we

I have this problem too but don't know what is causing it. You can
disable the automatic login by booting rescue mode then dropping to a
root shell to edit /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom
change AutomaticLoginEnable=false

I still have this issue in Jaunty. The access pattern is:

Confirming this issue. Deleting the var/cache doesn't help. Cripples the
IDE.
Seems to happen with Sun's jvm and not the default openJDK. (openJDK
barfs up the font sizes)
Installing from the netbeans website (6.5.1) resolves the issue.
