Unfortunately I had to shift to Windows on my company laptop. So there

The /usr/share/icons/Tango/index.theme:3 needs to change from
Inherits=gnome,crystalsvg
to

so the missing notification-icons are picked up by the Tango icon-theme. Since
tango-icon-theme is using quilt as a patch-system I'm afaid I can't provide a

a forced way (or if it crashes, as it was in my case), the sound is not
muted after a reboot. It looks like something mutes the channels upon
shutdown, and then re-mutes them upon login. That's why the master
