Do any of you please mind providing us the /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc file ?

Hi Micah,
I guess I will just have to deal with it crashing all the time because I
don't understand a thing on the Firefox Ubuntu link you sent either.
I do know how to start the terminal and have run some things in it in
the past...but with step by step instructions from someone. There are

Please forgive my noise, I hope it is helping.
The complaint in my .xsession-errors about line 59:

Line 59 is the fi at end of the if block. But
the file exists, I can cat it out from xinitrc
This is the only 'source' command in the xinitrc

Ok, this is certainly a kernel issue. After changing over to Fedora's
2.6.29.1-111 kernel, the issue has gone away.
Here are related kernel log entries when the problem was occurring with the
ubuntu kernel:

Thanks, that's really helpful. Maybe someone should change the title of
the bug, then, because I'm certainly still experiencing something which
could be described as "network-manager roams to (none) ((none))".

Yes, but it is not the same bug that everyone else is describing. I
I don't have lockup problems but serious performance problems. I tried
all of the following:
* Installing linux-jaunty-backports-generic
* Installing madwifi SVN trunk as of today (and activating it with jockey)
* Installing madwifi snapshot of 22 April 2009
I get this horrible ping to my gate
I don't see 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu9 in -proposed. The source is published, but
no i386 or amd64 binaries.
