I have the same problem here except I use GNOME. It looks like movie is
suddenly got rewind to the end. That is what OSD shows.
The workaround is to rewind once. After that the movie continues from the
start. Mplayer works fine.

Did you replace it with the Nikola's one? I just open my own with gedit
and replaced "jaunty" in "karmic" (case sensitive, whole word) and

As far as I can tell kphotoalbum depends on libkipi0 and libikipi0
conflicts with libkipi6. Then since libkipi6 is part of the kubuntu-

ok. after getting more complains about these issues we debugged this and
it turned out to be caused by new consolekit behaviour.
Problem is that root becomes @console if you have a root shell open
(like sudo su). So to connect you just need to log out all root shells.

kernel. This seems to be some kind of interaction between Ubuntu

I just tested your solution, but after reboot, the connection 3G is not

I fixed my audio by removing alsa
setting pulse to 1,0 in default instead of 0,1
reinstalling alsa
then removing pulse works great absolutely no issue

Despite many efforts I have not managed to use inverse search in okular
("shift button + left mouse button"). Are you sure that okular's
version present in Ubuntu supports inverse search with kile? Or is it
just my computer that fails to do inverse search?

If I run "mount|grep devpts" I get:
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noexec,nosuid,gid=5,mode=620)
However, I have nothing like what Mart

This has been a constant problem for me both onUbuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10
AND Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 running on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. I've
attached my xorg.conf file, though it doesn't look like it'll help.
