Is it possible that evtouch causes the freezes? (too)
I get no freezes when I use my touchpad, but when I use the touchscreen
X crashes after a few minutes (or seconds) and I have to restart X with
++.
I also experienced freezes in kuki (aspire one distro, intrepid based) after I

I still get these issues in Jaunty.
Weird lines across the screen when scrolling, black bars also appear
when scrolling in certain applications. Seems that the addition of an
external monitor may cause this issue. I will test further and report

It work afert a total supression of all pakages linux 2.6.28 and a
réinstall by the pakage linux.
It may comme from a disk pb, but after a disk chek by using a live CD
(and a réparation of errors found) the problem stell présent. I don't

After blacklisting radio_maestro I get normal boot.
I didn't have any troubles while using previous version of kernel (2.6.27

/etc/profile as follow

And it worked fine on Intrepid. After upgrading to Jaunty, this setting
takes no effect any more. If I open a terminal and type in
echo $LD_LIBRARY_PAT
Note that I have tried this with a range of older kernels while trying
to isolate the cause of the loss of text VTs and so can say if it is a
kernel issue then it is systemic across a range of kernels; which is
entirly likely. It is possible we should be turning off usplash before
firing the kexec

I was experiencing the Signal 11 crash from the default Kile in Jaunty
as well, and I downloaded the experimental Kile provided by Andreas
Wenning here. It seemed to have improved on the frequency of crash: now
it crashes *only after* I quit Kile. I've used it for a while now, and I

In System Preferences Prefered Applications I have set Firefox as my
default webbrowser. However after upgrading to jaunty x-www-browser is
now launching epiphany. In intrepid it would launch firefox. Since

The printer starts printing roughly 2 cm or 1 inch above the paper,
resulting in text being lost.
While the printer will not install automatically, it can be installed using the
procedure below:

Binary package hint: f-spot
from 7.10 to 8.10, f-spot used to import any picture in a folder named
home/Photos//mm/dd
the program got the picture details from the camera and created those
sub-folders all by itself. This is NOT done anymore since the update to
9.04 last
If you have two machines available, please install ssh on the machine
that exhibits the bug and then login from the other computer to the
troubled machine and run the command from there. This is the best option
because then we capture the logs with the logs fresh containing eventual
error print out
Any video. Youtube also, I have updated the config so youtube is ticked
but the configure tab doesnt seem to work so cant do much else when you
are in this panel.
Was all working fine in previous latest version before upgrade.
I'm happy to carry out tests if you tell me what to do..

background change to the desktop rather than to a directory in nautilus,
to send to bugzilla.gnome.org

I've just installed Jaunty on 2 computers with 2 different DVB devices
and tried it without issue. Admittedly there was a spot where the UI
