BTW. The fact that no internet connection seems to be established with

wifi card that still works fine after the update (zd1211rw module).

referenced older kernels. I think that perhaps the installer first
created a new menu.lst using both 2.6.27-11 and 2.6.28-11, and then

I have this same issue. I'm on a Dell Inspiron 4150 w/ Mobile Radeon
7500. No effect at all with the fn+up fn+dn to change brightness. I
also notice that if I start on battery, it starts dim, but when I plug
in , it doesn't brighten. When I plug in and unplug, the brightness

plugin. When I disable "Select windows when the mouse moves over them"
from my window preferences, the problem goes away and I can view flash

Hallo zusammen!
Sounds like my problem if I put my Lenovo 3000 N500 into "suspend to
ram" (standby) it will suspend correct. But instead to resume it
reboots! "Suspend to disk" (hibernate) has a complete reboot as result!
