Hi Paul... I see you figured out most the BIOS info already. Indeed it's
an AWARD Modular 6.00PG BIOS and the exact version tag printed at the

The LKML thread ( http://lkml.org/lkml/2009/1/26/323 ) describes a
completely different issue. I've seen both on my intel machine but this
bug report only deals with the warn_on_slowpath / i915_gem_leavevt_ioctl

In order to test other languages, I usually create the corresponding
locales as follows (this is good enough for testing but it won't
translate stock items unless you install the language pack)

For the Human icons the person who creates those icons made one for the
spellcheck toolbar icon. I think what might have happened is the name

hibernate), evolution is gone. All other programs are still there. This

this is problem exists because the ubuntu packager forgot to rebuild libmlt++1
after the latest libmlt1 rebuild. If you want to see this look at the number of
package revision :
libmlt1 is at version 0.3.8-0ubuntu2

try this: "sudo aptitude purge evince"
then check to see if /usr/lib/evince/1/backends/libpdfdocument.so is still
there. if it is, remove it

While it can compress a 600MB file, it claims that a 9GB file does not
exist.
