My Acer 4530 has a Realtek sound device. But Ubuntu 9.04 beta is seeing
as HDA Nvidia. Because of that is not possible to use microphone, and
the other devices connected to the audio controller. Attached is the
screenshot of the Sound properties. I tried to install the Realtek

Is it a bug that one has to disable the touchpad to get trackpoint

I tested this on an Acer Aspire One, an Emachines 6809 and a Zoostorm laptop.
All of these models have a Synaptics touchpad ('dmesg | grep input' shows
Synaptics Touchpad) and none of them exhibit the jumping behavior.
On my Eeepc 900A, the touchpad is listed as "ETPS/2 El
Closing the 2.5 task, that should be fine (its marked supported in both
hardy and intrepid).

Evolution MAPI is really buggy for me. I haven't got a apport crash

I am testing the mesa package from your ppa.
Jaunty still hangs.
i had 3 hangs in the last 24 hrs...
1) opening a font in font preview
2)adding links to jdownloader
3) (unable to remember)
i think it is less frequent but still too frequent.

Unfortunately I can't attach an example email since the ones I know of
that cause the issue all contain private information - they are however
the standard template emails that ebay sends out to a winning bidder.
I've confirmed it is likely the ebay template that triggers the bug
since I can crash

As far as I know, the ability to drag and drop was never implemented
upstream. In Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex, drag and drop relied in a patch
written by the Debian X Task Force, and you'll have to port that patch
to evtouch-0.8.8. I found the same issue trying to compile evtouch-0.8.8
for Intrepid Ibex,
