Editing the shortcut and setting it to the same value didn't help;
disabling the GNOME compat plugin made me lose all shortcuts obviously,
re-enabling it didn't help; what helped was to "clear" / disable the
shortcut and re-enable it.

That's great, but I'm not sure the thumbnailer approach is the right
approach, as shown in the images. I'm not sure what the right approach
would be, though. Is there any precedent for executable files with
different icons? .exe files in Ubuntu are kind of like files in an
interpreted language,
It seems that this bug is not in the nv driver, but instead in the non-
free Nvidia driver. Because the version of this driver is so old, I
think the bug is no longer valid and should be closed. Does anyone have
any objections?

John, MrWoo and Daniele, the original bug report is a crash. What you
guys reported (or at least MrWoo, I'm not sure about the others) is a
DeprecationWarning message (not a crash) which is being tracked in bug
#336669.
So, the crash was because of the running upgrade. The warning is a new

In preparation for pushing this upstream I have cleaned the patch up and
pushed new kernel with this clean version applied. If you have a chance

on Ubuntu 9.04 Beta (Jaunty) me-tv is very slow (compared to previous
versions), the gui often freezes so i have to kill it. If i'm using xine_ui
directly i don't have such problems, but channel locking is also slow.
