Intrepid, but Jaunty Alpha 5 and Beta 1 fail with the same error as
described in this thread. Will try my old CDROM drive now and if that

The persistent artifacts are finally gone with the 173.14.18 nvidia
drivers. I have a GeForce FX 5200 card, which does not work with the
180 series nvidia drivers. Of course the artifacts are still there,
they just flash and disappear just like with any other video card.

Wine bug. Wine runs as a normal user process and shouldn't be able to
kill the entire X session. I've taken a guess and refiled the bug
against xserver-xorg-video-intel, however if this is not your driver
it'll need to be ret
I'm not sure if this was an issue due to build scripts, but it appears
fixed nevertheless.

There is a option in nautilus called "show_desktop".. that i switched off by
ubuntu tweak.. and after doing this... LOTS OF windows appear in botton bar on
gnome.
I think it is a bug in Jaunty Jackalope.

Yes, funny, although reinstall did not work, a remove and install did!
(I thought the semantics were the same, but anyway...)
