Hello, I have obtained this exact report by Apport today in Kubuntu 9.04 beta.
I was applying some updates in which python packages were included.
I think it happens while python packages are updated, many other python
applications also crashed in the same moment.

this is not a wishlist thing. This is an annoying bug that was/is not
present in 8.04.2 but in Jaunty and 8.10!
The soundcard is incredibly loud and you cannot do anything except
taking out the cable which is not a viable solution for the 21st
century.

For some reason update-grub stopped writing changes to menu.lst so i ended up
with an old kernel and did not realize.
Deleting menu.lst and let update-grub recreate it fixed that Problem.

Are you behind a Firewall or something like that. It seems as if the
flash-plugin couldn't connect to the video (streaming) server.
At school I recently face the same problem on Windows. At home (ubuntu)
everything works fine.

I think something has gone wrong because none of those commands do
something in my system, even after restarting it. "sudo lspci -vvnn >
lspci-vvnn.log" asks for my password, after I enter it nothing happens.
Maybe I'm missing a package or something.

1) I have one interface which is dynamically assigned via DHCP (upstream to my
ISP)
2) I have a second interface which is statically assigned (my local LAN
interface).
