When I booted from the Ubuntu live CD I got logged in to live-session. And from

I've got another hang too, but I don't have any dmesg output etc. Just
after installing Kubuntu 9.04-beta AMD64 it hung in KDM after few

I've installed the package and obtained a backtrace as requested, but
looking at it I don't think the backtrace is any more useful than the
one mentioned. It doesn't seem there are debug symbols for the
libQtDBus.so.4 library.
The crash happens when I return from suspend, BTW. I started gdb and
Nevertheless I've just fully debianized it. <<< In which repositroy can

As far as I know XAA has been deprecated in favor of EXA. In my case I
use the intel driver which uses the UXA accel method so this bug seems
to be prety much driver/acceleration agnostic. Also I don't have
compositing enabled because it is just slow.

WORKAROUND:
I figured out the problem. When you change the preference in the Window
Preferences dialog, it puts "toggle_maximize_vert" in the gconf setting
/apps/metacity/general/action_double_click_titlebar. This is wrong. It
should put "toggle_maximize_vertically". If I manually enter that

It looks to me, from a quick analysis of the log files, that this was a
temporary problem with some packages in the beta version of gutsy. The
bug has no duplicates, and there doesn't seem to be other similar bugs
open. Thus, I suspect it was fixed since.
