In sorting this out with Timo I did a fresh install and forgot.
I had the same xorg.conf but with the lines from the intrepid example
added. By adding those lines the mouse and tablet were correctly
recognised but put the mouse on the tablet made the cursor shot over to
the left
what did you changed between theses few days?
I can't say the configuration to do it because as far as I can check, I
always had this problem.

In C and C++ if I #include I get asprintf() and vasprintf().
In C++ if I #include I DON'T get asprintf() and vasprintf().
If this is not a wanted feature, it'd definitely be a bug.

When I recreated the bug, I created the duplicate bug report bug 347747
with the apport crash information. The retracer has gone through and
