resolution than my laptop screen, the gnome-panel freezes. The way to
reactivate the panel seems to be moving it to the projector. When I move
it back from there it keeps on work

I solved it after some effort.. It seems that my USB keyboard didn't even let
me enter BIOS. It was like it was only detected when windows started. I was
forced to find a USB to ps/2 adapter (i made quite a mess in the house trying

I modified the patch a bit because there is already a
theme_destroy_notification () function so no need to have a additional
one. But the effect is the same, one crash fixed, but still crashing in
SexyUrl label. I suspect its a bug in libsexy because using a stock
GtkLabel does not seem to crash.
Frank Bob, the original poster wrote that his existing print queue had
the problem and also a queue generated by Plug'n'Print (plug in the
printer whjen there is no queue for it), but a print queue created by
clicking "New" in system-config-printer and then following the wizard
steps works.

I turned on compositing and metacity and it's much better. But the user
experience on non compositing enabled WM is very very confusing for
users. Would be good to improve that as lot of people don't use

Forgive my complete ignorance, but I am not sure what you mean by
NetworkManager managed network. The NetworkManager applet has been
operational for as far back as I can remember and as I said, nothing has
changed from my end (from Feisty onwards) except the OS version. In

I have this problem with Ubuntu 9.04 alpha6 using both the standard ATi
driver and the fglrx driver + compiz, so I doubt it's related to the
