Hi!
it happen again, this time after resuming from "sleep". After that, I put the
computer to sleep, logged back in and shut down the computer. The system got
stuck for about 15 min half way through the shut down phase (I could see the
logo and the progress bar fixed). Trying alt+prnt scrn+b did

I disabled compiz and uninstalled the NVidia driver (nvidia-glx-177)
After reboot, it works!
I reinstalled the NVidia driver
After a new reboot I tested again and BANG... it doesn't work anymore.

Yes, I give you permission to send the powerpoint file.
The reason I marked the bug as private is that I have data in the ppt
that I do not want to be cached by some web crawler. I will find the
specific slides that cause the crash and modify them so that I am
comfortable making the file world read
