I've got exactly the same problem. The only difference is that I use random
screen savers and when the display is frozen I see the screen saver image
frozen and not the desktop wallpapaer as Bernhard does.

Found a workaround: Its easy to disable normalize since it's a plugin.
Just chose "Plugins" from the "Edit"-Menu and clear checkbox beneath
"Normalize". Now everything works fine - except normalizing of course ;)

I can't find any other report of this happening in Fedora, but I'm getting the
same thing using Fedora 10.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.7.
I find Firefox crashes a high proportion of times window.print() is called, but
not all.
Architecture: x86_64
Uname: 2.6.27.19-170.2.35.fc10.x86_64
Firefox package
This issue should be eliminated in the new python code

No, I never got that far. It crashed right before the partitioning page.
Btw, I installed an ubuntu snapshot today and it worked so perhaps my
problem is already fixed. I'm going to try kubuntu also like last time.

fglrx modules I was able to startup correctly with the ati drivers.

1. I don't know if it is reproducible. I don't have the file flv anymore (It
was a temporal file of a youtube video).
2. Maybe you can download visit some youtube videos and before you can open the
temporal videos in /tmp
