On Jaunty Alpha 5, The partition editor step takes too much time to show/load,
I'm not sure how much time it took but definitely more than 5 minutes, I had 3
HDDs attached each with a total of 14 partitions or so.

sda10. After I did it on partition sda9 and sda8 the installation runs

I'm still seeing this issue under Jaunty with an intel chipset. kwin
causes ~50 wakeups/sec.
I'm gonna try a clean install of the new alpha (currently, I've
installed kubuntu-desktop on top of an ubuntu installation), and if the
problem persists, I'd like this bug re-opened.

Just wanted to let you know that apparently you made the right call to not
include .po (and its derivative configure.in) patches. It appears that those
aspects can be handled by importing a translation on launchpad. Such a
translation may get released w/ a different package in compari
Sebastien... I've just updated my system and the bug was not fixed... it
gives me a "nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV"...

11th March 2009 update: Still a problem with all updates, although it
seems slightly different, it is not to do with master or PCM volume, I
have tried this already. The sound now crackles but in different places,
namely the first "bong" of the startup sound, and a little bit at the
end as it fades
Oh, just in case it isn't apparent, sound works normally apart from that
one quirk.

In Ubuntu 8.10 I've noticed that Rhythmbox and Pidgin are slow to
respond when transferring many audio files over MTP to a Sansa Fuze.
Usually Firefox, Gnome-terminal, and Gnome are unaffected. However, in
