I may be incorrect about this, but I believe xulrunner contains the
libmozjs library that comes with Ubuntu. The libmozjs library contains
the bug. When I recompiled spidermonkey from code I found on the mozilla
website, into a library called libjs, the the segfault in my code

Here's a patch to add pam-auth-update integration to libpam-ccreds. I
haven't tested it with pam_ldap because I don't have LDAP authentication
here; further changes to the LDAP pam-auth-update profile may be needed
to get this working as desired (changes that are worth doing for the
general case).

used.
Linux is detecting the drive fine. But as Steve mentions, in the syslog
you can see where you see:

As Nerd_bloke notes, this is definitely a regression from Intrepid. If
you turn on Compiz via the appearance menu, you'll have no way to
override this behaviour since Ubuntu doesn't ship with ccsm by default.

On a completely updated Jaunty it works correctly. foo2zjs-wrapper is
correctly called with "-pCustom.297x684" by foomatic-rip, same for a
completely up-to-date Intrepid.
Please check whether your Intrepid installation is completely up-to-
date. Please supply the output of "apt-cache policy foomat
