Confirmed the problem still persists with Knetworkmanager. Saving config
using nm-applet and starting KNM don't help even after restarting too
[don't waste your time with this work around]. The latest version of

I do not agree that it is something little important. At least for
people non-english languages. I live in Spain and have recently
installed Hardy on my mothers computer in Czech Republic. When I got
back to Spain, my mother called me that she cannot use linux anymore
because it does not write in C

Confirming issue for jaunty. Just plugged one of these Microsoft LifeCam
VX-6000 into a machine running feb 18th jaunty pre-release bits. Cheese
says it doesn't find a webcam.
When I connected it, my 2.6.28-8-generic kernel printed this into dmesg:

But "better" is not objective here.
The radeon driver may be inferior to the fglrx in terms of 3D games but it's
the only one that suspends/hibernates for me.

I discovered that the same error existed regardless of the actual
bibliography entry. My edits have all been done through the

My computer is a Dell m1330. My media keys have always worked on hardy
and now intrepid but I came across a small bug. Whenever "Locate
Pointer" is selected in Mouse Preferences, the media keys and the mute
key stop working on the keyboard.

there is still a cosmetic problem:

Problem solved ! There an error in the configuration of SCIM.
Note: the problem showed up with JEdit and with ImageJ.
In the file /etc/scim/global there is a line
/SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_US.UTF-8
to which I simply added support for my local keyboard.
/SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_US.UT
