I skipped the RAID config in the installer and was able to complete

I had exactly the same problem like in your screenshot after updating
von "nv" to "nvidia" driver.
Finally, running the command
nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=0
after starting X helped for my GeForce4 Ti 4200.
Trying max. value 4 made it worse!

this area of the website have been discussed on the web-presence team
mailing list. One problem we currently have is that it's difficult to
contribute to the Ubuntu.com website (which is a different topic all
