The two instances of this that I have experienced did not involve any
hardware failures of any sort.
The first instance was relatively painless as the filesystem was
relatively empty.
The second instance however took almost 24h to xfs_repair and I only did
the repair so that I could get the data

RepeatPad for almost everyone. This was a bug in pixman that is now fixed

I must report that I have a system hang (after all is safe and the CPU should

I attempted to get a backtrace, but I'm not sure it worked. After
attaching gdb to the frozen polytopes process, gdb froze (ctrl-c did not
work) until I killed the polytopes process from another terminal window.
At that point gdb gave some error messages. It did then allow me to
dump a backtrace,
The code example from bugzilla.mozilla.org does it work ?
I myself have no idea how to compile it to firefox . It will be very nice if
someone who knows would try.

Fine with me. I have packages for hardy and intrepid that works well
enough that I haven't heard complaints. Subscribed the backports team to
