The application KPatience (kpat) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT).

I now found a way to reproduce it: Once you've set up the proxy system-wide and
then restarted the system, it does not reset the proxy if you tell him to do
so, at least not in a way that makes echo $http_proxy return nothing.

I had once again a similar problem and a friend of mine got the same issue
with another harddrive. But this seems to be an issue of the Seagate
Barracuda 7200.11 that is already fixed in new models.
The files on this harddrive are not accessible any more. I will bring it to

Coming from using git, i've gotten rather accustomed to "git log" giving
me output that I can scroll up and down if I have less installed. It's
pretty much equivalent to "git log | less" (although that might not be
the implementation underneath).

I just (unwillingly *sigh*) reproduced the bug here on my workstation
(Ubuntu 8.10, 32bit, with all available updates) and a NetApp share.
The first ls showed only 148 of the available 288 files in a directory.
After some more ls (or cp) the kernel crashed.

Same here. Latest kernel and the 180.22 driver. I can suspend and
resume from the login screen, but not if I have a logged in session, as
I had noted above.

As far as I know, network-manager doesn't support scripts so I don't know how
do to it to be automatic.
The best for you would be opening a new 'Question' about it (well, search
first..), then please post here the link to it so that it can also help other
people.

I can successfully sync events at specific times (eg. 1:30p) between
google calendar and evolution calendar using the "google" sync. wizzard.
However, events marked as "All day" in google calendar don't sync to
evolution at all. And, events in evolution marked as "All Day Event"

All of the methods of obtaing information about my soundcard stated that
nothing was found. But using a user created program called sysinfo
displays my card as being there. When I try to open alsa mixer it says
