loads and the live CD just spins up without progressing past your BIOS's

Today's daily build 20080113 oversize at 795.3 MB (!) install edit
partition still fails. Anyone have any idea when the promised ubiquity

Tim - Martin was correct to set this as Fix Released, because it is
fixed in Jaunty. If you think the fix should be ported to Intrepid,
please use the "Nominate for release" button, which will add a bug watch
for Intrepid (if approved).

Hello,
I experience the window crash problem. I am on Ubuntu Intrepid using
compiz on an nvidia (proprietary manufacturer driver version 173)
graphics card with chipset FX5200 on an AMD Dual Core Phenom with Linux
Kernel Version 2.6.27-9-generic (not the 64bit kernel).

I had the same problem after upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10 with NVidia. It was
really easy to fix thanks to instructions in the bugreport marked as duplicates
of this bug report (#141254).

Because problem was clearly related to use of external keyboard, I've
tried to replace my old keyboard with another one and now it seems that
problem disappeared (both keyboards are connected via USB). I'm pretty
sure that problem occurred immediately after upgrading Hardy to Intrepid
but it can be
