Public bug reported:
Since I switched to intrepid, I have display problem. This is a non blocking
problem but is very anoying, and does not look like somthing good to people
looking at ubuntu for the first time.
When I open a window in X, it first display very crapp before displaying
correctly.
Just an idea: I have been reading online about EDID detection problems,
and it appears that the nvidia driver allows users to specify an Option
line in xorg.conf that points to a binary file containing EDID data.
This would be a great feature to add to the radeon driver, particularly
if it is done

When i want to save a note in one of my tasks, it cant save it.
I used Tasque from Ubuntu 8.10, version is 0.1.6, with local saving of my tasks
(i just testing the program locally atm).
I tee´d the console, just look in the attachment.

Public bug reported:
Say I have zsh installed but not ksh. Then I get the following output:
$ ksh --version
zsh 4.3.6 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu)
isn't this funny? I mean it gives me the zsh version. The command "ksh"
works but not properly, e.g. it doesn't read .kshrc either.

the problem is that usb-creator only works with USB flash **optical**
usb sticky, not with USB **hard** drives.. Yes do not ask me why. but it
seems they choose to do so for not confusing the users, but in my
opinion this limit is even more confusing.. I have submitted a bug for
this
