This should be so easy that my mother could do it. Now she couldn't even
if I told her how. It seems this font-selector was not implemented in
time or is not part of the default Ubuntu desktop.

The real "fix" is to NOT use sudo with GUI/KDE/Gnome aplications, use
kdesudo/gksudo, this will set up the correct environment for GUI
applications.

I'm running Intrepid Ibex on the eeepc 1000H.
When I change the resolution to 800x600 everything is ok.
But when I switch back to the initial resolution (1024x600), I have a black
screen with only a mouse cursor that is still working.

In Kubuntu Intrepid (KDE 4.2 Beta), Firefox runs sluggishly with the
gtk-qt-engine turned on.
By this I mean, it's a bit slow to open drop down boxes, switch tabs,

Also, just like Fred, the mtrr error is also showing when I try to log
back in:
