Now when I run Jockey, it works. Instead of just showing a gray light
no matter what, it now shows a restart icon and the button changes to
"Deactivate". After restarting, it shows a green light and the driver

Same problem here on Toshiba Satellite U305 laptop after upgrading to
2.6.24.22. No DVD playback in any app. Rebooting with 2.6.24.21 fixed
problems. I didn't notice any keymapping problems but wasn't looking
for them either.

To summerize, I haven't seen a problem in a recent trial.
In more details,
I've tried changing the time by adding 1 minute (more or less) in Ubuntu 8.10
with GNOME,
and then reduced by 1 minute. As expected, I had to type the password before
the first trial.
