CUPS not printing images
It is possible that an accessibility feature was active at the time,
though I can't say for sure. I do know that they are now disabled and I
am able to utilize templates. Though I have also upgraded to Intrepid
at this point.

gconftool-2 --dump /apps/panel > panel_layout_1280_800.entries
and restore the layout after switching back from a different resolution:
gconftool-2 --load panel_layout_1280_800

weather applet is part of gnome-applets, reassigning, could you also
take a screenshot of what you're seeing? most applets works with
preferences so you need to right click over them and select preferences
and then add the locations there, does that works?

I can confirm this also. I had a working iSCSI target setup with hardy.
Also very simple configuration, no authentication or anything special,
just some LVM2 LVs exported as blockio. But after upgrading to intrepid,
it stopped working.
