I just noticed after the restart that APM is 254 but after resuming from
suspend it resets to 128. All this time I am on AC.

The installer now specifies the GRUB root device by UUID so I'm marking
this as fixed. If you still experience issues please open a new bug
report, describe the problem in as great detail as possible, and attach
full installer logs.

The fix (90-hdparm.sh) doesn't work because by default there is a value in
laptop-mode.conf
CONTROL_HD_POWERMGMT=1
Which renders the acpi script useless.

I just wanted to let you know that I am working on getting IPython 0.9.1
packaged for Debian. I hope to get 0.9.1 into unstable (or at least
experimental) sometime soon. The work I've done so far can be found in
the Debian Python Module Team's SVN repository:

PPA doesn't seem to have helped. Still get the "Association took too
long" errors. Surely another issue is that if the error is this "took
too long" then prompting for access credential is not the thing to do.

(8.04.01) and running kernel 2.6.27-rc7 and GM965 running Gutsy and
kernel (2.3.22,14-generic).
