Well, I figured out what the problem was, but I still think there should
be a way to open a terminal.
The problem was the amount of video memory I was giving the VirtualBox
virtual machine. I have a 30" monitor and if I want to use fullscreen or
seamless mode, I need to allocate at least 17 MB of

I do also have this problem, my network ran on channel 13 which wasn't listed
on second boot.
First boot after upgrading the network manager even hasn't been started - dunno
if this is linked to this bug.

Hi,
a temporary solution for my problem is to force AGP 1x mode because that
prevents it from freezing.
With Windows XP, it runs fine on AGP 4x even with fastwrite enabled.
