If at all possible, I would suggest that auto-mount/unmount keep a
counter file in the ~/.ecryptfs directory, ++counter when the user logs
in, --counter when logs out, unmount only if counter == 0.
I guess there could be side effects when a session crashes, leaving the
counter in a bad state. That

On today's update, 10/10/08, the same error continued which had much more
serious consequences.
As the result of not being able to complete the update, it seems that the

I just found out that I was mistaken, I opened the
Preferences->Keyboard shortcuts, and found that the key to start the
browser was XF86WWW, so I tried to change it, after pressing Fn+F3, the
key changed to XF86HomePage, so it seems that the key name changed in
Intrepid or so. As for Fn+F

Hehe maybe we should run kontact in gdb by default? ;-). Restoring
Incomplete status.
Usually you wouldn't have to run in gdb, apport or KCrash would attach
to the threads upon crash and create the traces automagically, which
works with 97% of all crashes.

I've tried with Intrepid beta, and have the same problem. When I'm near
the AP, I can get signal, but packets are droped frequently. For near I
mean less than 2 meters. If I go a little bit far I just can't connect,
even without authentication.

still broken in intrepid and there are a few other problems with
thinkpad special keys on my x200:
1) the mute button works, but there is no OSD.
2) pressing the mutebutton again doesn't unmute. one has to press the volume up
or volume down key to unmute.

I've now been able to perform some tests. Using the rtl8187se I can
connect to a WEP network but not WPA personal nor enterprise. If I plug
in a D-Link USB dongle, I can connect to all three networks without
problem. So it's definitely a problem with the rtl8187se and WPA, but
it's not obvious w
In Kubuntu using KDE3 it work fine by default. I think it would be great
that in the intrepid release it will work again, I think it's not a
difficult think to do.
