Hi,
The issue seems to be gone now after removing one of my hard drives. It
seems odd. If I install kubuntu with multiple hard drives, the issue
occurs. If the machine has a single hard drive, it boots just fine.

There is no difference in the PPDs concerning the PostScript code which
gets sent to the printer. Only differences are the removal of unneeded
UIConstraints lines and the addition of a missing colon. So it is

I am confused, but then I'm not a regular user of xubuntu. I think it is
like this:
There is a difference between "Stick" and "On Top".
Windows marked as "On Top" stays on top of windows not marked as "On Top".
Windows marked as "Stick" are show on every workspace. If not marked as
"Stick", the
debian/patches/41_defaults.dpatch does not seem to have been integrated
upstream in 0.16 and thus would just get dropped.

For me, the problem resolved when I backed up my home directories and
re-installed Ubuntu with the latest ISO. The problem started with the
update to Hardy Heron. It was never resolved with any subsequent
patches. But it seemed to have been resolved since it works with a

Since hardy this problem is active. If I read f.e. the www.index.hu hungarian
portal, lot's of flash content doesn't appear correctly. F.e. I see a grey box
instead of the video. In some cases occurs, if I reload the page, in this case
the video begin to play.

Intrepid no longer has this issue. Pretty sure Hardy doesn't either,
but I don't have a Hardy install ATM to test that idea.
