So, random passes are nearly _five_ times slower than

I've removed torbutton add-on and manually instructed Firefox to use
privoxy (as you can see in the included screen shot).
Still, it appears I'm not using TOR while browsing.

Not sure if it will be fixed in Hardy, I used the fix posted above and
haven't had any problems since. Brightness works fine in Intrepid, with
the power manager resetting the brightness for battery conservation as

Hi,
system-cleaner-gtk wasn't translated when I launched it, and when I
checked the source, I didn't see any use of gettext or any po files, so
I think it's not enabled for translations at all.

Ivan, ifupdown (eth0) is the configuration your have in
/etc/network/interfaces. by turning on managed=true you opted-in to get
that system connection presented. If you dont want it to appear at all,
you can remove it from /etc/network/interfaces .. or just use it as it

This is Kubuntu Intrepid Beta with linux-image-2.6.27-5-generic version
2.6.27-5.8 on an i686 Dell notebook. I assume it might be a kernel
issue, but I'm not sure.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Ctrl+Alt+F2 to change to vt2
2. Log in
Okay, since pm-utils got upgraded to ubuntu4, I've created a new debdiff
for the time being, which I've attached. Would it be a good idea to at
least get this uploaded now, and then continue considering whether or
not we should upgrade to 1.2.2.1?
