I'd like to confirm that this bug still exists. I'm using a nvidia 6200
on intrepid beta. Think I'm using 177.76. Happens not just on maximised
windows, and very regularly. Happy to provide more information if

Desktop effects causes titlebar anomal
Changing the titlebar doesn't work for me, not does using emerald. The
window decoration comes and goes as it pleases.
If I hover the cursor over the button area the decoration returns. Using
different themes alters the behaviour slightly, but the basic issue
remains.

I just tried with my kohjinsha SC3. It is running on poulsbo hardware and X is
crashing with "No screen found" or "Can't load module psb, no drivers found".
I suppose not all harware are supported with the vesa driver.

The nbd bug caused me a ton of grief at a school that I volunteer for. Updating
the chroot fixed the issue. I was surprised that the chroot doesn't already get
updated when the server gets updated. What happens with security fixes?

I got a similar problem to Aaron. Installed Intrepid beta on a Toshiba
A100 laptop yesterday and I could get to the gdm screen fine. When I
login I am stuck on the blank (tan) screen.

I got the same behaviour as in this bug report.
Nevertheless I'm connected to the network, even if the NM applet shows up with
a little cross, saying "No network connection".

I was connected to a WPA-protected AP.
iwconfig still showed me as connected, but DNS and HTTP didn't work.
