Yep, I know that; the problem is that the former stacktrace
(http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18084329/Stacktrace.txt) has no symbol so
how can it know that it is a duplicate? There is no info about
gconf_client_
It's not easy to fix this in a clean way... as (un)editing /etc contents
on domain join/leave is not really clean. The best way would be to make
apparmor aware of domain existence so that it adapts @{HOMEDIRS}
accordingly.

i did the "sudo dosfsck -a /dev/sdb1" again and now it worked.
after doing that i needed to remove the pin and reinsert it.

I tried from my install and from the live CD. Note that I have had my
install running with the on board Intel graphics chip so that's why I added
the live CD results too. I disabled the on board Intel graphics from the
BIOS before rebooting to get the non-liveCD results.

server? maybe you could open the bug on bugzilla.gnome.org too where
people writting gvfs will read it?

declining the gutsy task since gvfs is new in hardy, the workaround
indicates the issue is a samba config one and not a bug

it appears to work now, but only after i eject the cd and put it back in.
before that all i have is that error message.
so the bug here is that whats been burned doesn't appear on the cd/dvd
until one has ejected it and put it back in.
its not a trivial bug.
