The new winbind4 package doesn't include the PAM module
(pam_winbind.so). winbind 3.2.3-1ubuntu2 did include this module.
Since winbind4 conflicts with winbind it is not possible to use winbind
for system-wide authentication with winbind4.

if the kdelibs-data version you are using is the ubuntu one you should
open an another bug against kdelibs, some other bug seemed to indicate
the kdelibs having those changes was a ppa one or something and I don't
want to sature my dsl download not to get kdelibs and have a look to it
