Sorry for the misunderstanding:
hardy works fine (is running currently).
The thing is that intrepid does not work.
The intrepid xorg.conf is empty - no recognition of screen or display driver is
happening.
I verified this with daily build 2008-09-18 (kernel 2.6.27-3) as
described above.

I disable bluetooth by using the Fn+F5 key combination. (Which is the
only one working currently.)

I have the same problem here.
The samba server remains the same.
I have only one machine upgraded from gutsy to hardy and it
happens that documents edited on this machine will be corrupt
afterwards.

I looked into the issue a bit deeper and I was wrong about the firefox-2
vs firefox-3 data.
The problem is that the extensions moved to universe and that gnome-app-
install does not show universe extensions by default. In hardy that
worked because in the dekstop file, the "component" was set to ma
is the issue specific to the inbox folder or do you have it in some
other boxes too?

I can confirm that with the recent update I can start qemu and move my
arrow keys without any problem.
But it still gets locked on squasfs line. How can I log the qemu window?

Ant itself is compiled correctly. I'm using both java6 and java5 from
Sun, using "alternatives", and it works fine. The problem is with some
libs included in Debian version. As a workaround, I commented out this
code:

The output of lsusb would be of interest, to determine the exact
keyboard model.
Please confirm that the problem is still there after the big update to
intrepid of today.

Suddenly, amarok started to work out very well. I searched in logs to
find some updates I missed, and the only ones I fuond that maybe
resolved the situation are these:

The reason why my compiz/glxinfo wouldn't work is that the symlink to
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so was wrong. It was linked to
an old and non-existant library installed in Hardy. I removed the
symlink and created it again with the latest libglx.so.177.76 library.
Now everything worke
It still occurs to me. The problem is that the TLS handshake is
correctly completed (verified via wireshark) and then the client
(kaddressbook) sends alert notifying certificate is not trusted and
terminates the connection. At no point I get a pop up to accept this
certificate.

This problem is somehow related to the Firefox Extension "Ubuntu Firefox
Modifications 06~b1". If I disable that extension, the Citrix ICA
client works correctly.
A bit more detailed information on the problem: When the Citrix ICA
Client starts, it starts to load the Juniper Networks Secure Host
