This is probably due to incorrect thumbnails rather than gthumb. Some
thumbnails may have been generated by older software that ignored the
orientation tag.

(only?) KRDC but rather (also?) related to KVPNC, NetworkManager and/or
resolv.conf.

As far as I can see this happens in every directory that has pictures.
Do you have some idea on how to determine if one particular picture is
causing the problem? Thank you.
