I want to register that I lost three DVDs to this same error, used
Leszek workaround (with the modules from comment 42) and my DVD is back
to normal now. I'm using kernel 2.6.24-19, IDE LG DVDRW 40 pins, so I

It seems there's a regression in 2.6.27-3: module ath5k is loaded but no wifi
interface is available. Even Jockey shows that module is in use.

I installed the alpha 5 of ubuntu intrepid, which uses the kernel 2.6.27
where the modem driver is included. But with the Network-manager(version 0.7) I

The problem is deeper - Mozilla maybe first, but not last software

words like "isn't" or "doesn't" are underlined as errors. The red
underline excludes " 't ". When looking for suggestions, the words
actually exist in the list. But when selected, gedit simply adds another
" 't' at the end!

Another problem is, that Ubuntu is also a LiveCD. If firefox will ask
for it's EULA every time you boot, you will crush the CD shortly.

For the record, someone else did report it upstream, and the author
confirms that this fix is the wrong fix, but did not apparently propose
a different one or even really acknowledge the bug:

There is another way of checking exchange via OWA using Thunderbird on
Ubuntu I have recently found - this evolution problem still needs to be
fixed as a matter of priority as this method I consider to be pretty
'hacky'.

"Lost".I haven't tried other program. I've read that totem (due to legal
purposes) is not able to read original DVD's.In Mediabuntu explain I've

I'd just like to +1 the following:
* Keeping EULAs out of Ubuntu. EULAs are usability bugs: not only are
they horrible, but one is obliged to either read them or risk breaking
the law. By using Ubuntu, I know I am legally on safe ground. Obviously
packages in multiverse may have to show EULAs, but
