I can't find any of the open office mimetypes in
desktop/gnome/thumbnailers in gconf. I read at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/135324 that tracker is somehow
creating the thumbnails. I do know that if I run top while Nautilus is
frozen Nautilus is taking up all of the cpu and an excessive

Hi Lionel,
A couple of things:
1. Is this bug repeatable? When it occurs can you attach the output from the
"mount" command.
2. The DMA: Out of SW-IOMMU space for 4224 bytes at device :0b:00.0
message in the dmesg log is interesting too - was this occurring on previous
kernels?

As a workaround I've found that bookmarking the samba share in nautilus and
then selecting this bookmark from gedit's open file dialog (i.e.
File->Open...(Left hand side of dialog under places)), then accessing the
file seems to work the best.

Not a duplicate of #133192, freezing occurred last night.
I ran Memtest for 32 hours on each computer, then before submitting the
bug, I ran it again for ~23. Since I ran it on all 3 computers and it
passed (and three separate computers are having the problem), it's
