Confirmed on gnome-menus 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 on Hardy.
There's also no man page, which makes things even more complicated. If
passing options isn't supported, it should say so; if the options passed
are invalid, it should say so. Simply opening up a weirdly blank window
seems like the wrong behavior.
Hi Brian,
Thanks for the note, especially about testing the 2.6.25-rc5-git7
upstream kernel. I'll ping the kernel team about this. Thanks.

Finally, wireless works. I've built the kernel driver from Eric Anholt (the
xorg developer) git repository.
I don't know what patches he applied, we should ask him!
No problem so far...network manager works ok, even with wpa.
You can test it by doing:
sudo apt-get install git-core
git clone git://

Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I have tried the "NewHuman" theme with the last Ubuntu Ibex Alpha5 and I
have discovered that hints in OpenOffice are displayed in black over
dark brown and are almost unreadable. With all other programs instead
the text of hints is white.

Hi Vincent,
Thanks for all the updates. 2.6.27-3 should hopefully be uploaded the
archives soon. If you could just add a note here if the 2.6.27-3 kernel
does indeed resolve the issue reported here that would be great.
Thanks.

I've been looking at the changelog entries for -4 and -5 and see no
reason to sync it right now (we are in FeatureFreeze now and try to sync
only important changes from Debian).
What advantage would have patching -5 to work with 2.6.27 instead of -3?
