I see this exact problem with Ubuntu 8.04 on my x60. I'm using gnome. On
every ~5th resume or so, the keyboard quickly stops working. It works
long enough for me to unlock the session, but then quickly stalls. I too

In the case of Intrepid, i think this is becouse kde-l10n packages are
missing in repository, i have installed package kde-l10n-es from Debian
and now my KDE 4.1.1 is translated into Spanish language in Kubuntu.

I'm pretty sure it's not, because I started evince from the command
line, not from within Firefox (I always save files to the desktop).
Even if, it would still be evince that opened my sound device, not
Firefox.
Of course there might be another (different) bug in evince, which might
be related to
