Hi,
the same here. I found the problem on Kubuntu and Ubuntu Intrepid
alpha-5, Kubuntu Hardy KDE 3 and KDE 4. Also a test was unsuccessful
with vpnc. OpenVPN and vpnc works fine in a terminal.

expected when I removed 'Option "SHMConfig" "on"' and restarted X and
hal the synaptics touchpad was functional.

Same problem here with Broadcom BCM4306 on Kubuntu 64bit kernel
2.6.27.2. Funnily enough I get two lots of my network shown when I
click on available networks. The output from my card is reported as
-27dB and input to it is 0 when using iwconfig??? I tried the same
install method with Ubuntu 64b
I saw this problem today, after an Intrepid update/upgrade.

Andreas, the kdenetwork-dbg pagacke wants to uninstall the -dbgsym
package. I was not able to find a kdenetwork-dbgsym package...

Just tested using the Alpha 5 LiveCD. Was only a quick test (can't run the
unstable version permanently at the moment) but the bug still exists.
Same as with the current release if the link is up and you undock... kernel
panic! Shame

Hi, I'm seeing the same problem in 8.04.
As per Leann's suggestion, above, I upgraded to 8.10 Alpha5. The problem
is still present for me.
After reboot, I noticed a line in dmesg warning about old drivers, so I
went to linuxwireless.org and manually installed the drivers. After
further reboot, he
